Premier Events
There’s cool stuff coming at Premier Wine & Spirits beginning February, when it launches The Chef Tasting Series. On the first Wednesday of each month, Premier will host a favorite local chef in its intimate tasting bar. The chef will prepare a signature dish to be paired with wines and beers from Premier’s inventory. It all begins Feb. 1, when chef Paul Egnor of Pizza by Elizabeths drops in to cook, chat, and show you a little about food. Best of all, most of the proceeds go to the chef’s charity of choice. Keep checking the Premiere Web site for a full roster of chefs. It’s coming soon. premierwinespirits.com
Celebrating Wine
It’s no secret that your Insider is a huge fan of Nage in Rehoboth Beach, so we’re tickled to see this: the Nage Winter Wine Festival. And just in time. Now that the holiday festivities have died down, we’re ready for action. Jan. 29 means a celebration of wine (of course), locally brewed beers, live music, outstanding food (of course) and more. The bar is wide open, and it will be offering some mighty intriguing cocktails. Buy your tickets now. Then keep an eye out for more about the Evolution Brewery Beer Dinner on Feb. 10, when our favorite brewers in Delmar—known for their Primal Pale Ale, Exile ESB, Lucky 7 Porter, Lot No. 3 India Pale Ale, Rise Up Stout, seasonal brews and specialty brews—drop in for a bite with you. And that’s just the start of Nage’s special events. Go. nage.bz/about/rehoboth

Boxed In
Potstickers in Centre Point Plaza may be gearing up to celebrate Chinese New Year, but we can’t help raving about the bento box lunch specials. For prices starting at $12.75, your box comes full of soup, steamed rice, house salad with sesame ginger dressing, four pieces of California roll, seaweed salad and two almond cookies, then your choice of some delicious entrées, including beef in black bean sauce, Thai green curry-coconut chicken with pineapple, grilled shrimp with orange essence, General Tso’s chicken, sesame chicken or honey teriyaki chicken. That’s a lot of lunch. In fact, why not make that your dinner and eat light later. The Bento box special is available Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. It’s just one of the reasons we love the place (and the reasons are many). 731-0188, potstickersasiangrill.com
