Sure, there are plenty of kid-friendly places to go at the beach, but where do the kids at heart go to hang? The Hideout Arcade Bar & Grille in Rehoboth Beach is a new adult entertainment venue featuring games, food, drinks and a retro feel.
The spot opened at the end of last year at the recently shuttered Hooters chain. It is the second location from the owners of Conch Island Key West Bar and Grill, the longtime downtown Rehoboth Beach watering hole that is known for its live music.

The Hideout Arcade Bar & Grille is a completely different vibe, offering a bar on one side and an arcade on the other. Some of the throwback games you can get your hands on include pinball, Pac-Man and Tetris. You have to purchase tokens to play ($10 dollars is equivalent to 40 tokens) or earn two tokens with every alcoholic beverage that you purchase.
The menu is substantial and includes some unusual appetizers like clams chardonnay and bacon and cheddar deviled eggs plus plenty of burgers and sandwiches. There are over 20 craft beer options (many of them local) and even hard milkshakes.
