The Latest Must-Try Summer Treat

Enjoy Blotto Gelato, alcohol-infused ice cream made in Sussex County.

You may have tasted alcohol-infused water ice, but the latest adult confections on the market are Blotto Gelato’s ice creams, sherbets and sorbets, which are blended with distilled spirits and liquors. Blotto Gelato is handmade in Sussex County, and all the products used to make it—from the dairy ingredients to the alcohol—are purchased from local vendors.

Some of the gelato flavors include Coconut Cream Chaos (vanilla bean gelato with shredded coconut, coconut rum and vodka) and Chocolate Raspberry Kiss (dark chocolate gelato and chocolate raspberry liqueur). There is also a Gelato Jr. menu, which includes plenty of non-alcoholic gelato, sherbet and sorbet flavors.
