Some people dread the drive to work, but not Michael Stiglitz of Two Stones Pub. “[The] sprawling hills and beautiful landscape just make it a joy to drive to work.” And yes, he’s talking about Delaware—namely, Hockessin.
He chose to expand his Two Stones chain to the small town, opening his latest location on Feb. 27. “This is the newest restaurant to our group since we opened our 2SP Brewing Co., and as such we are really highlighting the brews and, of course, our great food driven by our exec chef Sean Howell,” says Stiglitz. The new location also boasts an expansive outdoor patio, which after some initial hurdles during the liquor licensing process, promises to become a local favorite for everyday dining and private events alike.
The atmosphere at Two Stones in Hockessin is much like the other locations in Newark, Wilmington and Kennett Square, fusing casual with upscale to create a laid-back environment without sacrificing quality. Stop by the Lantana Square Shopping Center location for some local brews, pub grub and some small-town charm while you’re at it.
