May is here, and with it comes fresh fruits and vegetables from Urban Acres Produce. The community-owned farmstand provides fresh food—as much as possible from Delaware—through November at various locations in Wilmington. An initiative of Central Baptist Church, Urban Acres aims to promote healthy eating, especially in under-served neighborhoods, by providing food at fair prices while also providing jobs and training.
