The borough of Kennett Square will host its first ever restaurant week from Feb. 24–March 3. Expect over a dozen participating restaurants serving diverse, chef-driven menus with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
Kennett Square has a wealth of flavors thanks to globally inspired eateries. “We have such an exciting and diverse restaurant scene that we wanted to showcase the creativity of our chefs and introduce the many flavors of Kennett Square to a broader audience,” says Mary Hutchins, executive director of Historic Kennett Square.
Participating restaurants include favorites like Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen, Lily Asian Cuisine, Portabellos and Verbena BYOB.
Throughout the week, select restaurants will offer special lunch and/or dinner menus at set prices. Look for a four-course tasting menu at Verbena BYOB, or stop in at Talula’s Table for a boxed, three-course farm-to-table dinner, providing you with a gourmet meal you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Or head to the Kennett Square Inn, which will offer a three-course dinner with options like oysters Rockefeller, oven roasted mushroom stuff pork tenderloin and apple upside-down cake.
In addition to the dining options, there will be 15 nights of live music throughout the borough, plus other specials at the Creamery, Kennett Brewing Company and more.
