WiLDWiCH Opens Brick-and-Mortar Café

There’s another spot to get those signature gourmet sandwiches.

WiLDWiCH has been a Delaware hotspot for delicious, fresh, diverse and quick fare on wheels since 2014, but on March 7 it officially opened its first café in Wilmington. But don’t fear, food truck groupies—the truck is not going anywhere. It’ll be up and running in Trolley Square come St. Patrick’s Day.

The new Wilmington location held a grand opening ceremony with a ribbon cutting and an appearance from U.S. Sen. Chris Coons. WiLDWiCH had a soft opening a few weeks prior. The new café is located at 800 Delaware Ave. and serves a variety of gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads and baked goods. Above all, they’re known for their sandwiches with options varying from day to day. Favorites include the K.C.Q (a Kansas City barbecue sandwich) and the Saigon (a Vietnamese banh mi with a twist). Wash it down with their strawberry lemonade, made from scratch.
