Delaware has been honored in Wine Spectator’s 2014 Restaurant Awards, which highlights the eateries around the globe that offer the best wine selections. All with moderately priced wine lists, the esteemed magazine ranks their strengths by wine region. The winners are Caffé Gelato in Newark (California, Italy), Domaine Hudson in Wilmington (California, France), Eden in Rehoboth (California), Green Room in Wilmington (California, France), Krazy Kats in Montchanin (California) Abbott’s Grill in Milford (California) and Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Wilmington (California). They join almost 3,740 award winners from 80 countries. Wow. Six top-notch dining destinations—Clos Maggiore in London, La Toque in Napa, Nice Matin in New York, Saison in San Francisco, The Stonehouse in Santa Barbara and Studio in Laguna Beach—have earned Grand Award honors for the first time. “Wine Spectator congratulates each and every one of this year’s Restaurant Award winners,” says editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken. “The commitment of this year’s winning restaurateurs to building high-quality wine programs has been extraordinary. There has never been a more exciting time to be a wine lover.”

We couldn’t agree more—especially in Delaware. See all the winners at winespectator.com.
