Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. For many, it’s a day of picnics and parades as well as a night of concerts and fireworks. For others, it’s a reminder to fly the American flag and commemorate freedom.
No matter how you celebrate, Waste Masters Solutions—a leading provider of environmental solutions, trash removal, dumpsters and recycling services—wants to remind us all to reflect. Why are we able to enjoy all the things we so often take for granted, such as our freedom? Why are we able to enjoy a beautiful day rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, or cheering on the racecar drivers at Dover International Speedway? It’s all due to the sacrifice of our veterans.
Company co-founders Brian Simmons and Steve Masterson proudly support a number of veteran-based causes, including the Victory Village Project and the USO of Delaware Team. Masterson, a retired non-commissioned Air Force officer, has led the company in championing many veteran-based causes as a way to thank our nation’s bravest.
But Waste Masters has taken their commitment to their community a step further. Having acquired partnerships with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dover International Speedway, Waste Masters is taking the first step in making these family-friendly destinations environmentally sound.
It’s been three years since Dover International Speedway and Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announced a waste-solution partnership with Waste Masters Solutions. Since then, color-coded recycling bins have been placed in more prevalent locations around the hotel, casino and speedway. This has made it more convenient and accessible for guests, concertgoers, race fans and patrons to recycle.
Waste Masters is also collaborating with the Eagle’s organization to increase efficiency in the Lincoln Financial Field and its practice facility, the NovaCare Complex. The Philadelphia Eagles recently signed an extensive multi-year corporate partnership with Waste Master Solutions as a continued effort with the ‘Eagles Go Green’ initiative. Last year, Lincoln Financial Field became 100 percent landfill-free.
Waste Masters Solutions is a locally and privately owned environmental solutions company committed to helping the community whenever possible. The company philosophy is to support the community that supports the business. Led by co-founders Brian Simmons and Steve Masterson, Waste Masters Solutions is now a leading provider of environmental solutions, waste handling and recycling services for large and small companies across a wide range of industries in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey.
