It might seem like Thanksgiving is a long way away, but it will be here before you know it. And if the thought of cooking and entertaining a large group keeps you up at night, there is no shame in throwing in the towel and dining out. Here are some coastal restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, for dine in or carry-out. Make your reservations now before they book up.

Make note of the turkey thigh and delicata squash casserole as a side option and the peppered leg of lamb with optional giblet gravy, tart cranberry sauce or huckleberry puree at the carving station.
Pricing: The buffet is $45.99 for adults, $19.99 for children 12 and under and free for children five and under.
