Don’t miss out on the food specials either: nachos are $9 and tacos are $3 (your choice of chicken, beef or shrimp).
Big Chill Surf Cantina and Taco Reho kick off the celebration at 3 p.m. Enjoy a delicious taco and house margarita for only $10.
Crabby Dicks in Delaware City is offering $3.99 margaritas all day.
Cromwell’s Tavern in Greenville is a great place to take the tequila-lover in your life. Try the spicy margarita, made with jalapeño-infused silver tequila.
Del Pez Mexican Gastropub in Wilmington has a variety of signature signature margaritas (the pink margarita is a favorite). Be sure to pair it with wings, nachos or tacos.
Dos Locos in Rehoboth Beach is offering its margarita (made with Dos Locos tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and Grand Marnier) for $10. Other margaritas will be $5 or order a pitcher and receive $5 off.
El Maya Mexican Grill near Prices Corner features two new flavors—a passion margarita and a fiesta margarita.
La Hacienda in Dover and Milford is getting in on the occasion and will be offering a few special margaritas beginning at 11 a.m.
La Tolteca and La Tolteca Express (three locations) in Wilmington are going all out for this special day. Try the new raspberry frozen margarita for just $5 or sip on a Mi Campo lime margarita for $4, an El Tesoro margarita flight for $10 or enjoy $1 off Patron margaritas.
Mad-Macs in Newark is offering $5.50 Hornitos margaritas all day.
Merchant Bar in downtown Wilmington is known for its flavorful cocktails, including its “Some Like it Hot Margarita,” made with tequila, habanero syrup, passion fruit, Cointreau and a lime-chile salted rim.
The Mexican Post in North Wilmington will have margaritas on tap (try the blueberry one). The restaurant will also have plenty of happy hour specials from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Mexican Table Restaurant in Hockessin offers some unusual margarita flavors like blood orange and prickly cactus pear.
Ole Tapas Lounge & Restaurant in Newark will be featuring five different flavored margaritas as well as margarita flights. Specials start on Friday and continue through Sunday, Feb. 24.
Papa Grande’s Coastal Taqueria in Fenwick Island will be features some small plates and specialty margaritas, in addition to its regular menu.
