There are few things on this Earth that are better than a good slice of pizza, which is why National Pizza Day—celebrated each year on Feb. 9—holds a special place in my heart. Here are a few fun pizza facts for you:

Caruso’s Bistro: This Middletown staple has some of the tastiest and most creative creations to choose from, including cacciatore, parmigiana and even baked ziti pizza.

Crust & Craft: If you miss National Pizza Day or just can’t get enough, then Crust & Craft has your back. On Tuesday’s the Rehoboth restaurant offers “Treat ‘Yo Self Tuesday’s,” which is its $6 ‘Yo pizza (topped with your choice of crushed tomato, sweet garlic, or olive oil sauce) with just $1 toppings.

DiMeo’s: Located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, this eatery is perfect for when you just want to grab a slice or two. On Tuesdays they offer buy one slice get the second slice half-off after 2 p.m.

Grotto Pizza: If you’re not sure where life will take you on National Pizza Day, Grotto has your back. The popular pizza chain (founded in Delaware) has over 15 locations in the First State, and is offering double points on Swirl Rewards Club Accounts on National Pizza Day at all Delaware locations.
