I Love Mom 5K

Start the day off right with Fusion Timing’s I Love Mom 5K. During registration, runners can choose from a list of charities to contribute a portion of their registration fee to, including YMCA Delaware, Unite for HER, Mom’s House Wilmington and March of Dimes Delaware. Runners will also receive a race t-shirt, a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Plus, moms will be given a flower at the finish line. Race registration costs $25.

Mother’s Day Drag Diva Brunch

Mother’s Day Tea

The day before mother’s day, head to the Kent County Public Library for a special talk from Karen Jessee, a writer and speaker. The talk, “Bustles to Bras: 200 Years of Women’s Fashion,” is a multi-media presentation on historic and vintage clothing and accessories. Tea, coffee, sandwiches and other treats will be available. The dress is business casual and hats and vintage costume are welcome. Only people older than 13 may attend. Tickets are available for $30-$35 at the Kent County Public Library until sold out.

Mother’s Day Sightseeing Cruises
