Bellmoor Inn & Spa | 6 Christian St., Rehoboth Beach, 227-5800, www.thebellmoor.com.
Although located inside the Bellmoor Inn, the spa is open to the public. It has a treatment to address an area of the body we tend to overlook: the hands. Blend a classic manicure with a micro-dermabrasion session to reduce the appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation ($55). The treatment also includes the application of age-intervention cream. (There’s also a pedicure with micro-dermabrasion for $95.)
In summer, you may have opted for a shellac manicure because the polish lasts up to two weeks—ideal when you’re on vacation. The drawback: Only a salon can remove the polish. Consider a manicure with VINYLUX, a weekly polish that lasts up to 10 days and is actually strengthened by sun exposure. Plus you can remove it at home. ($45 for a manicure; $85 for a pedicure)
Fall tip: If you don’t get regular facials, at least get one when the seasons change to address damage and prepare for the season to come, says spa director Tina Allen.
