• Delaware Paddlesports in Lewes continues its Tuesday night “social” paddles, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and full moon paddles into fall. You can rent or bring a kayak instead of a stand up paddleboard. 645-7300, delawarepaddlesports.com
If You Bike
• Admire autumnal foliage along the Junction and Breakwater Trail, which runs from Lewes to just above Rehoboth Beach. Take it further by cruising into Cape Henlopen State Park. There are about seven different computer-led rides, says ride counselor John Deming. The shop stays open on weekends into winter. 227-7600, biketogo.com
• Peddle through history on the Southern Delaware Heritage Trail, a circuitous 130-mile trail for cyclists. (There are also 70-plus miles of scenic country roads for motorists.) The trail includes Lewes, Milton and towns in western Sussex County. deldot.gov
