Along Del. 1, the big news is the $10 million makeover of the Tanger Midway Outlet center, which started in February. (Stores are open during the renovation.) Improvements on the nearly 20-year-old center include new colors, lighting, siding and architectural appointments, including improved walkways.
Greensboro, N.C.-based Tanger’s operation at the beach covers a total of 569,000 square feet. New stores include Tommy Bahama at Tanger Midway, Columbia Sportswear at Tanger Bayside and Forever 21 at Tanger Seaside (tangeroutlet.com/Rehoboth).
