Houppette, a luxury beauty boutique with locations in Greenville and Kennett Square, Pa., has just announced it will be closing its Kennett Square location on Saturday, April 28.
Owners Lizzie Johnson and Cristi Miller have decided to merge the two stores into a single, larger location—slated to open in Greenville Crossing this summer.

Houppette has been in business for 17 years, and both owners are excited to reinvent. They plan to focus on all aspects of makeup and skincare, including the introduction of facial services. They are also working to bring a few new beauty-related product categories into their new store concept.
Johnson and Miller said they decided to close the Kennett Square location because it was not getting enough traction. They found that many of their customers shopped at both locations and, given that the two stores are relatively close in proximity, determined that consolidating their resources would enable them to offer customers a more elevated shopping experience.
