Visitors at this year’s Firefly Music Festival came to party with festive outfits like bodysuits, tie-dye and a whole lot of body glitter.

After about a year and a half of little to no live music, Firefly Music Festival brought a weekend of song and dance to Dover.

The Woodlands sang a tune of celebration from Sept. 23-26, and the fest gave attendees the opportunity to dust off their best party attire. Outfits for the festival ranged from chic dresses to glam bodysuits and comfortable tie-dye.

Festivalgoers accessorized their looks with butterfly wings, light-up capes, hats and metallic jewelry. Makeup lent a hand in capping off the final ensemble with glitter, body jewels and fun lipstick shades.

No matter what look attendees decided to wear, it was a celebration of self-expression and happiness to once again be together.

Many lined up to take photos in front of Instagram-worthy locales or with a favorite artist jamming in the background.

The festival included headliners Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala and Lizzo, along with other acts like Delaware’s own Eyebawl. The event, which usually takes place in the hotter summer months, had a cooler four days, lending itself to a variety of different looks. Warmer afternoons fell into crisper evenings, so guests brought out jackets and sweatshirts to layer.

Delaware Today caught up with some attendees on Saturday, Sept. 25 to get a snapshot of some of the styles seen on the festival grounds.
