Your style:
AM: Casual with a touch of art and hip-hop.
NC: Business professional—suit, dress shirt and tie.
How you differ:
AM: I have a more artistic flare. Nnamdi is classically boring, except for days when our “twin thing” kicks in, and we leave separate homes wearing the same style outfit.
NC: I’m business suits. My brother [wears] a business-casual suit jacket with no tie and casual sneakers.
Sartorial keepsake:
AM: My Howard High School track jacket. It holds great sentimental value—shout-out to Howard High School!
NC: Light blue dress shirts—an array of shades and patterns—to go with my multitude of traditional colored suits. The light blue represents the light blue infantry shoulder cord that I earned in the Army.

Closet hogs:
AM: In this order: Eagles gear, statement T-shirts, Louboutin shoes and, lastly, ties.
NC: Shoes, suits and hoodies.
Bringing the bling:
AM: My primary jewelry is my wedding ring. An additional classic piece would be my Cartier or Gucci watches.
NC: Classic stylish watch to complement my business suits, preferably gold or stainless steel Omega or Panerai.
Favorite fashion era:
AM: ’80s hip-hop.
NC: I loved the ’50s and ’60s, when men took pride in their attire and got dressed. I could live in this era. Their style represented their struggles to be seen as men in so many ways.
Style icon:
AM: Donny Hathaway and Yasiin Bey.
NC: Sammy Davis Jr., Malcolm X, Sidney Poitier, Muhammad Ali. Outside of work and politics: [musician] Wise Intelligent.
Fashion regrets:
AM: 2XL Karl Kani clothing.
NC: Oversized hip-hop apparel that Al and I could have fit into together.
A well-dressed person…
AM: Is happy and comfortable in their attire.
NC: [Wears] a suit and tie with classic shoes. She’s a woman in a beautiful, classy dress.
If money were no object, you’d splurge on:
AM: Balmain—head to toe.
NC: More personally tailored suits.
The one that got away:
AM: I wish I’d never given away my leather Gucci trench coat.
NC: Willie Stargell jersey.
Must ’dos:
AM: Loc care, beard groomed.
NC: Head cleanly shaved with trimmed mustache and goatee.
