In 2014 the company won its first Best of Delaware title in the category of Upstate Hot Stuff. Corrin Andrzejewski, director of sales and marketing for Freakin’ Fresh Salsa, says the Best of Delaware honor has definitely boosted business. “The governor came to our facility,” she says. “We have gotten more recognition and having the ability to display ‘Best of Delaware’ on our containers has been awesome.” After winning, the company displayed and sampled its tasty treats at the Best of Delaware Party and its attention to detail wowed the crowd. Freakin’ Fresh channeled its vibe with a tropical umbrella, tablecloth, baskets of fresh produce and party lights. Andrzejewski says the best part of the party was “connecting with other winners and sharing success stories. The atmosphere was awesome.” She adds that it was particularly special to be able to share the moment with family and friends who also came to the party. For those who have never attended a “Best Of” party, you don’t know what you’re missing. “It’s freakin’ awesome! There is no better night out in Delaware. It is an event you have to experience for yourself,” says Andrzejewski.
