Dazzling the Holidays – Photo Gallery

The Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Intellectual disABILITIES held their annual Holidazzle extravaganza on Nov. 15.

This year’s DFRC Holidazzle kicked off the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Hercules Plaza in downtown Wilmington. DFRC Holidazzle, a tradition more than 40 years in the making, once again did not disappoint. The signature holiday fashions were quite fun and festive with local area boutiques and haberdasheries debuting their best ensembles. The event was well attended by the Wilmington charity coterie who engaged in delectable treats while cheering on the bartending competition between Jamie Murray and Bobby Carpenter, slinging the now-famous signature drink, the “Dazzle-tini.” While delighted and awed, all were reminded of the impact DFRC makes on Delaware area children and adults with disABILITIES, particularly when the Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance entered in full Nutcracker regalia, with their buddies right by their sides, also dressed to impress. Mark this event on your calendar for 2015 – it’s a not-to-be-missed affair for an important cause. For more information, please visit www.blue-gold.org/dfrc.
