Looking for plans this weekend that aren’t your typical dinner and drinks? Head to the Delaware Museum of Natural History in Wilmington for the 13th annual Wine & Dinosaurs fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 12-4 p.m.
The event supports scientific research, special exhibits and education programs at the museum, according to the website. Guests are invited to “get mad about science” and enjoy premium wines, specialty beers, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction. Food will be provided by Toscana Catering, and beverages will be provided by The Wine & Spirits Co. of Greenville.
The event’s website also lists featured breweries like local favorites Bellefonte Brewing Company, Revelation Craft Brewing Company, Twin Lakes Brewing Company and more. Guests also have the chance to win a variety of silent auction items, including trips to British Columbia and Ireland.
From Sept. 22-28, ticket prices are $60 for DMNH members and $70 for non-members.
