Through Sunday, June 23 • Clifford Brown Jazz Festival

This tribute to the late Wilmington jazz great kicked off Sunday and picks back up Wednesday at 6 p.m. with performances by Laila Biali, Matthew Whitaker and The Clifford Brown Tribute Big Band with Gerald Chavis featuring Ernie Watts—all on the main stage in Rodney Square.

2. STARRY NIGHT

Saturday, June 23 • Blue-Gold All-Star Football Game

Top high school athletes, cheerleaders and bands participate to raise money and awareness for the Delaware Foundation Reach Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities. The Family Fun Zone opens at 2 p.m.; gates open at 4 p.m.

3. A DAY FOR ALL AT THE MALL

Saturday, June 23 • Positively Dover

This African-American festival offers cultural and artistic experiences and features food, music, dancing, vendors and shopping on Legislative Mall.

Saturday–Sunday, June 23–24 • New Castle County Ice Cream Festival at Rockwood

Live music, kid’s activities, food vendors and, of course, ice cream make this the biggest family picnic of the summer.
