Easter Bunny Express

Hop aboard the Easter Bunny Express. The 90-minute, round-trip train ride to Ashland is a memorable one—kids even get to meet the Easter Bunny.

Kent County Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, April 8, from 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Grace Presbyterian Church in Dover is organizing its first Easter Egg Hunt. There will be crafts, candy-filled eggs, snacks, dancing and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The event is hosted by the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware and is perfect for children of all ages. Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Kids aren’t the only ones who get to have all the fun. Visit Chaddsford Winery and embrace your inner child for an exciting adult-only Easter Egg Hunt. The best part is that everyone is guaranteed to win at least one prize. Tickets are $15 per person and include participation in one of four timed hunts (10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and one glass of wine from the traditional tasting menu.

7th Annual Auburn Heights Egg Hunts

Visitors are encouraged to bring a basket and join the hunt for thousands of eggs scattered around the Auburn Heights mansion. Gates open at noon for train rides, and at 1 p.m. the hunt begins. Tickets are $10 per person; advanced registration is required.

Storybook Character Breakfast

Calling all princesses and pirates! Head to the Delaware Children’s Theatre on Saturday, April 15, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to enjoy breakfast with storybook characters and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. The price is $15 per person; reservations are required.

50th Annual Great Delaware Kite Festival and Easter Egg Hunt

Celebrate spring during Kite Day on April 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and enjoy kite-flying contests, an Easter egg hunt and food vendors. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation. Park entrance fee will be in effect: $5 for in-state cars and $10 for out-of state-registered cars.
