University of Delaware
The current Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback played at University of Delaware from 2006-2007. Joe Flacco started his NFL career as a first-round draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens. Flacco has the most career passing yards and touchdowns for any quarterback who has never been to a Pro Bowl and was the 2012 Super Bowl MVP.

From 2009 to 2013, the Washington Mystics player was a Delaware Blue Hen. An Olympic gold medalist and the first woman to join NBA stars like Steph Curry and Steve Nash in the 50/40/90 club, Delle Donne has also partnered with brands like Nike, started her own line of wines and worked extensively in the nonprofit sector with her own foundation.Â

Folk pop artist Maggie Rogers attended and graduated from St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, where she played harp in the orchestra and sang in the choir. One of Delaware’s slightly more under-the-radar famous alumni, Rogers made waves when her song “Alaska” went viral after she played it for Pharrell Williams during a master class. She spent the following years recording multiple albums and touring with artists like Mumford & Sons and Kacey Musgraves. She was also nominated for Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
