When the Firefly Music Festival hit Dover for the first time last summer, it drew some of the hottest bands on the scene, not to mention thousands of music fans. This year’s lineup, with classic performers like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, gave the event extra cred. In a state where the biggest thing to happen in rock music had been a White Stripes concert a few years ago, Firefly is huge—70 bands huge. Some of the biggest names in music now know Delaware.
