Here are three recent projects from Marnie Custom Homes, each offering a fresh spin on coastal Delaware luxury.
Dune Lodge
A light, airy and classic seaside getaway.Â
With a light exterior, this impressive South Bethany home has all the makings of a classic beach house. The main level offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean, instantly creating the perfect vacation vibe—an ideal vacation space for the Maryland owners. A common trait of beach houses by Marnie Custom Homes is the seamless blend of outdoor and indoor living spaces. The multi-slide floor-to-ceiling doors in this home do just that with functionality and stunning ocean views.
The kitchen is modern, airy and spacious with a white backsplash and dreamy Santorini Blue accents. With six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, this vacation home is sure to be enjoyed by many loved ones for generations to come.
Multiple balconies facing the beach round out this vacation getaway, providing the perfect place for coffee with a side of sunrise views.
Live Lucky
A flashy and modern luxury entertaining space.
The dramatic modern silhouette is just the beginning of the stunning views when looking at this 6,200-square-foot Fenwick Island beach house. Marnie Custom Homes created a luxuriously tailored resort-style experience. A hotspot for entertaining, the home features a pickleball court, putting green, pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, boathouse and three decks.
The flashy and modern exterior contrasts with a luxurious and classic interior aesthetic. A dramatic two-story foyer greets guests upon entry. Vintage hickory hardwood flooring extends throughout the open living space with a conditioned wine cellar and bar.
The kitchen is spacious and highly functional with a combination of marble and butcher block countertops.
The house is ideal for beachside living, equipped with a steam shower and sauna, a screened-in porch and a beach-prep room with a bathroom and laundry. Plus, the rooftop deck provides stunning views of the ocean and Fenwick Island’s canal.
Sandman
A pretty in pink coastal dream house.Â
For this Bethany Beach House, Marnie Custom Homes channeled Barbie Dream House vibes and delivered a soft pink paradise. The front door provides a contrasting accent of a vibrant seafoam green. The accent shade is carried into the interior with a top-floor built-in bar. A fireplace surround painted in Benjamin Moore Soft Shell mirrors the contrast of the home’s exterior.
The top floor also features Marnie Custom Homes’ signature beams and shiplap adorning a vaulted ceiling. An inviting screened-in porch makes for an ideal seating area. Outside the porch, a spiral staircase leads to a rooftop deck with glorious ocean views.
On the main floor, a dusty pink range hood complements gold hardware and light fixtures and the same color scheme carries into the walk-in pantry. Shades of light blue are sprinkled throughout the home in the middle floor bunk room, dining chairs and porch seating.
