Yes, but not matching rugs. An eclectic mix works best, as long as they coordinate well. However, there are times where one large rug might work better in the space, but two or more can help define separate seating areas.

What material is most timeless yet dynamic?
Chinese silk. It’s durable and easy to spot clean. It gives a nice luster and really shimmers in the sunlight. It is a very dynamic material, looks different from every angle and is constantly changing depending on the lighting and time of day.
What’s the most durable?
Wool is always the most durable material. It is important to invest in quality materials and construction. If you spend a little bit more up front, you will be happy you did, because the rug will withstand all the wear and tear from pets and kids and everyday life.
