What started as a hobby has become a full-fledged business for Collins, who launched Euphoric Herbals aimed towards doula clients and the community at large. It soon grew into an online shop, which now offers access to holistic health for everyone.
In October 2018, the business opened its first store, Euphoric Herbals Apothecary—the only herbal apothecary in the state—to sell various teas, body lotions and salves. “We make and manufacture all of our products,” Collins says.
Managing your own business can be a challenge, especially as you’re sending thousands of products out the door, but Collins makes it work. It’s especially rewarding when she sees the positive effect she’s had on her small community of Milford, she says. Her advice to any small business owner is just to start if you’re passionate about something. “Figure it out as you go,” she says.
