Lauren Bohager Herlihy was always a “restaurant person.” From bartender to manager at SoDel Concepts, Herlihy now wears many hats as director of operations.
“My job is dynamic … it changes every day,” she says. “I get to meet a lot of great people and I get to see them develop which, I really enjoy.”
When COVID-19 rattled the restaurant industry, SoDel didn’t waver, finding a way to make it work no matter the restrictions. “I’m really proud of how we’ve handled the current year. It just says a lot about our company that we’ve been able to keep up with the current policies and procedures.”
Herlihy is also the president of SoDel Cares, writing grant reviews, giving charitable donations and assisting community programs. For her, it’s a no-brainer that the company is involved in giving back. “We all pretty much have the same goals and things that we like. We all like to eat good food, we all like to travel and we all like to help people.”
