With the Super Bowl on one end and Valentine’s Day on the other, Feb. 12-14 is the ideal time for a romantic getaway at the Delaware beaches—especially when many hotels are offering special deals perfect for two. Can’t take off that weekend? No worries, there are other off-season rates to be found, and you’ll have plenty to do. Most area restaurants and shops keep winter hours.

Book the Friday and Saturday over Valentine’s Day weekend at the sophisticated yet friendly Hotel Blue. Prices range from $199 to $249 a night, and guests get champagne, flowers and chocolates in their rooms. Plus, add a third night—Thursday, Sunday or Monday—for just $99.

Bring your Valentine’s Day romance to Hotel Rodney in Lewes this year. Rates start at $99 to $149 a night.
