Seasonal Farmers Markets Opening at the Delaware Beaches

These coastal spots are great for scoring fresh produce and food from local vendors.

On the sunny afternoon of Tuesday, May 7, a lunchtime crowd strolled though the sun-dappled paths of Grove Park in Rehoboth Beach. There was live music, cooking demonstrations and nearly 40 vendors—selling everything from local asparagus and strawberries to fresh eggs—gathered for the opening of the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market’s 13th season.

The Rehoboth market follows on the heels of The Historic Lewes Farmers Market, which opened May 4, and the Milton Farmers Market, which kicked off its season on May 3.
