One of the most unique places to shop at the beach is the Brush Factory in Lewes, a mercantile shop that houses nearly 50 vendors who sell new and vintage goods. But beach goers now have another option for a similar shopping experience.

Shore Marketplace on Coastal Highway in Lewes is owned by two sisters, Marlene Ingram Lusk and Esther Ann Ingram. The vendor market, which held a grand opening celebration last month, is filled with booths owned by various businesses that feature new, handmade, recycled and previously owned items.

There is a lot to see, so give yourself a good hour to shop; there is handmade pottery, plenty of beachy signs and décor, furniture, candles, condiments, artwork, pillows and jewelry.

Lusk and Ingram plan on adding more vendors this summer. Shore Marketplace is located at 17689 Coastal Hwy. northbound, between Arby’s and Sound Fx in the Furniture Gallery building.
