Sir Derek Jacobi to Narrate Shakespeare at The Grand

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra’s Classic Characters concert is a must.

Sir Derek Jacobi is no stranger to Shakespeare. One of his two Laurence Olivier Awards was given for his performance as Malvolio in “Twelfth Night” in 2009, and he won a Tony for his performance in “Much Ado About Nothing” in 1984. See him for yourself on April 25, when he narrates Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Orff’s “Carmina Burana” during the Delaware Symphony Orchestra’s Classic Characters concert. The concert also features vocalists Mary Wilson, Clint Williams and Jonathan Beyer, with the University of Delaware Symphonic Chorale. It happens at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington.
