Nothing says summer like an evening at a farmers market. Head to the Bellefonte Farmers Market this Friday, June 9, between 5 and 8 p.m. for its first event of the season. Sip on a beer from Bellefonte Brewing Co., grab a bite to eat from one of the many food vendors like The Plum Pit and Uncle John’s BBQ, and shop for fresh produce and other handmade goods. There will be live music from Marco Newsome, Rachel Schain and the Elbert-Palmer Elementary School Drumline. Kids can get their faces painted, meet Bellefonte firefighters and jump around in a moon bounce.
