Don’t pack away your summer clothes just yet. Ease into autumn by layering lacy tanks, lightweight jogger pants and other warm-weather staples with traditional fall pieces, recommends Nicole Hinton, owner of Nicole J Boutique in Middletown. The boutique has a shopping website in addition to its brick-and-mortar location, both offering a variety of clothing and accessories for $50 or less.
WHAT’S TRENDING: “This season, we’re seeing pops of plaid along with multicolored prints and an autumnal spin on summer’s boho glam,” Hinton says. She suggests incorporating a dash of dainty jewelry and some layered necklaces to complete the look. Here are a couple of her favorite transitional fall looks.
AUTUMN BOHO GLAM: The model in the photo is wearing a sage lace tank, $38; printed jogger pants, $40; and ankle booties, $45.
