A nature and special interest camp in Hockessin, New Castle County.

Based in Hockessin, DNS offers more than 100 different age-based camps at four locations beginning June 17. Programs range from half-day sessions to an overnight stay at Coverdale Farm Preserve. Not surprisingly, nature is a recurring theme. Specialty camps featuring the culinary arts, photography and target sports are also available. 
Fee: Half-day: $65-$200 member, non-member; Fullday: $140-195 member/non-member; $525-$580 member/non-member

“Chronicles of Narnia II” offers campers the chance to look for trees and animals mentioned in the book, as well as try their hand at archery and other outdoor skills (July 15-19). Canoe the Dragon Marsh in Delaware City—ages 9-12 (July 1-3), “Wizards and Lizards” is for Harry Potter fans at the Country Center (July 22-26)
