Lace up your sneakers for the Orange Crush Your Run 5K this Sunday, March 25. The course on the Mike Castle Trail leaves from Grain H2O in Bear at 9 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Preston’s March for Energy, an organization whose mission is to provide adaptive bikes to children with special needs. The goal is to raise enough money to give 11 bikes to 11 children on a waiting list, and have them join in on the race.
Registration is $30, and each participant (21 and older) will receive tickets for two free orange crushes. Participants can also enjoy a post-race party at Grain H2O, which will feature food, drinks, bike giveaways and music.
The event is a run/walk, so it’s perfect for people of every fitness level.
