Three Go-To Juicing Recipes

Try out this morning jolt juice to jump-start your day.

Juicers often do their own thing, putting produce in the machine based on flavor, nutrients and what’s on hand. Adding fruit or a veggie like beets will sweeten the drink. Cucumber or produce with a high water content adds to the liquid. If you’re a novice, here are some recipes to get you stated. Just combine, then hit the switch.

Morning Jolt Juice

1/2 lemon
1/2 cucumber
1 cup green grapes
1 kiwifruit
1 celery stalk
1 handful of fresh mint

Strawberry-Pineapple-Mint Juice

Adapted from “Reboot Your Life”
1/2 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into cubes
1 cup strawberries
1 pear
30 mint leaves

Healthy Green Juice

Adapted from
2 green apples, halved
4 stalks celery, leaves removed
1 cucumber
6 kale leaves
1/2 lemon, peeled
1 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
