Delaware Today is committed to covering education in our community, examining what’s going on in our public, private, charter, parochial and independent schools. Each year we celebrate the people behind the institutions.
Delaware teachers have shown their resilience and their dedication to their students. They continue to go above and beyond to deliver quality education in a caring atmosphere for our community.
Help us salute educators who have made a difference this school year.
Who are the teachers in your community who deserve to be recognized? How do they go above and beyond the call of duty?
Delaware Today is currently seeking nominations for outstanding teachers in kindergarten through grade 12 at any of our schools in our state. DT’s editorial staff will consider each nomination, highlighting the cream of the crop in the September issue.
When submitting nominations, please consider the following criteria:

- How do they demonstrate their commitment to the community?
- How have they made a significant impact on an individual or school?
NOTE: When nominating, please provide specific examples.
