The annual Wilmington & Brandywine Valley Travel Issue has released its 2017–18 edition.
The 56-page guide, published annually by the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau, highlights New Castle County lodging, restaurants and retailers, meeting and event planners, and other attractions.
This year’s guide includes:
- a timeline of Delaware history that showcases the area’s most important—and sometimes hidden—historic sites
- weekend itineraries to help locals and tourists alike plan everything from weekend getaways to family outings to romantic excursions
- a list of established and emerging breweries
- and a look at where famed local chefs like to eat when they’re not doing the cooking.
Matt Sullivan returned for his third year editing the issue, under the direction of Scott Ciancio, GWCVB Director of Marketing.
“Matt and Scott have completely redesigned our visitors’ guide over the past three years to feel more like a magazine,” said Sarah Willoughby, executive director of the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The feedback we’ve received from our members and visitors has been excellent.”
