“This new dining area will give us something that no one else downtown has presently, says Joseph Van Horn, owner of Chelsea Tavern. Everyone loves to dine al fresco, and Wilmingtonians are no different. This intimate space will definitely help solidify downtown Wilmington as a dining destination.”

The expanded area will also feature wrought-iron gates that open on both sides of the alleyway, showing off beautiful planters. “This [will add] to the already existing comfy ambiance,” Van Horn notes. “[It will be] a great place to sit back and enjoy the outdoors and people-watch.”
