The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the picturesque historic Brandywine Valley, is almost unrecognizable these days. Founded in 1920, the DuPont Country Club was purchased in 2018 and has dedicated six years to extensive renovations, expansions, and improvements, all aimed at enriching the Club’s offerings for its members and guests.
In that time, a golf practice facility with putting greens and a driving range, coupled with indoor dining and an outdoor patio was added. Members have been enjoying a two-story fitness center and a new pool complex. Expanded racquet offerings are now available, with the reconfiguration of tennis courts and the addition of new pickleball and paddle courts.
In the spring of 2024, the DuPont Country Club marked another milestone with the completion of the historical Club House and upgrades to the Brantwyn Estate.

The Country Club’s latest renovation renewed the grandeur of the 113,000-square-foot Club House, embracing its sophisticated charm with a timeless and universally appealing style. With this last phase completed, all of the public spaces at the Club House have now been transformed, including the lobby, entry, lower foyers, member dining rooms, galleries, ballrooms, event spaces, meeting rooms, corridors, locker rooms, staircases, and more.
The recently renovated DuPont Ballroom (formerly the Crystal Ballroom) is a sophisticated gathering space, perfect for weddings, holiday parties, retirement parties, and corporate events. The DuPont Ballroom now includes all-new refined finishes, decorative architectural elements, window treatments, and accent furnishings, which elevates the existing space to a new level of elegance. With a capacity for 300 guests and an additional 100 guest capacity using the upstairs balcony, the DuPont Ballroom provides an exquisitely refined venue for your next event.
In addition to the spacious DuPont Ballroom, the DuPont Country Club offers seven other spaces for smaller gatherings, including the magnificent Christina Ballroom, which can accommodate 150 to 200 guests and is ideal for anniversary parties, proms, and special celebrations. A creative professional team is dedicated to customizing all the details to meet the needs of any special event, with a menu that includes a variety of selections for breakfast, brunch, lunch, meeting breaks, cocktail receptions, and dinners.
