When owner, Rich Edwards Jr., established Paint Doctor in 2000, he swapped-out his full-time job but kept the scrubs and began painting part-time. His fellow painters fondly called him the “Paint Doctor” and the name stuck. Now, after 20 years and a longlist of customers, Edward’s company has grown to include total home renovations with a revised name – PAINT DOCTOR + PLUS. The expanded team includes 30 Painters, 5 Carpenters and partnering craftsmen, serving residential and commercial customers. Edwards continues to actively work on projects and oversee daily operations. He credits much of the company’s success to exceptional employees, and the longevity of managers Chris Fielding (15 years) and Ray Maher (8 Years). Edwards feels blessed to wake up loving what he does every day.
