United Medical Accountable Care Organization (UMACO) is a multispecialty ACO consisting of more than 180 physicians and 115,000 primary care patients. It is a clinically integrated health system and a business partner of Oracle Cerner. UMACO is the largest privately owned Accountable Care Organization in Delaware comprised of an independent network of professionals who deliver top-notch care. UMACO recorded an 11.87% savings rate and was ranked #17 by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) out of more than 1,600 ACOs in the country. Improved patient outcomes resulted in a $20 million savings between Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances. Much of the success can be attributed to the use of integrated digital health tools and a comanaged framework to meet members where they are for the delivery of care.
