The mission of the Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) is to promote and protect Delaware agriculture through education and advocacy, to ensure a better quality of life for farmers as well as their families and consumers. With approximately 2,000 members, DEFB is one of the state’s strongest agricultural organizations bringing together both producers and consumers. DEFB strengthens Delaware’s agricultural industry through lobbying efforts, workshops, and community outreach, all aimed at improving farmers’ livelihoods and providing the community with fresh, local products. It also serves as a community for anyone passionate about agriculture—farmers, agricultural professionals, and community members with an appreciation for farming.
