The backward design process is at work at Ursuline. We start by setting goals around what we envision that our graduates will need to be successful and then choose the best method to attain that result. Innovation is one way we equip our students for the future. At Ursuline Academy we embed our tradition of Serviam meaning “I will serve” into our Innovation curriculum. Our students have the capacity to observe injustices or problems, the mindset to believe they can influence and change the world, and the skill set required to develop and implement sustainable solutions. Ursuline’s 1313 Innovation Center is supported in partnership with local business owners Paul & Linda McConnell.
