Playing to learn, playing to lead
There are few choices more important than selecting a school for your children. Faced with many options, how do you decide which setting is best? At Independence we love that our 8th graders are the oldest kids on campus. This means that kids can still be kids, even as the oldest middle schoolers grow into team captains, student government officers, and role models for younger students. Character development, communication skills and collaboration across grade levels are essential aspects of the Indy experience, developing curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. Joyful experiences of learning to learn while also learning to lead go hand-in-hand at Independence—and the outcomes for Indy alumni prove it!
