Everyone wants a dishwasher that’s going to work. Brandon recommends the GE Monogram Dishwasher. “People live busy lives,” she says. “This is a quality product that gives you the freedom to not pre-wash hard-to-clean items by hand.” Another useful product she recommends is the K-Cup Refrigerator: “Many people have a Keurig. This product allows you to remove it and free up counter space, because the coffee maker is housed directly in the door of the refrigerator.”

Busy families are always looking for ease and convenience, and GE has a number of products to help simplify daily tasks. Many homeowners enjoy the look of front-load washers and dryers, but often complain that they can be uncomfortable to use. Brandon likes GE’s RightHeight Design Front Load Washer and Dryer. “They have factory-installed pedestals positioned at a height that allows you to comfortably load and unload clothes,” she says. Both units are high-efficiency and come in a range of colors.

Brandon is also a fan of GE’s Advantium Speedcook ovens. The outside of food cooks as it does in a conventional oven, with radiant heat produced by halogen bulbs above and below the food. But in the Speedbook oven, this halogen-produced heat receives a boost of microwave energy, which means food browns and cooks more quickly and evenly. “With this technology, cooking time is dramatically reduced, so anything from chicken nuggets to an apple crisp can be prepared in half the time,” Brandon says.
She says active families and even novice home cooks cannot go wrong with the GE Monogram Induction Cooktop. Induction cooking uses the transfer of magnetic energy (rather than a flame or electric element) to create a quick, efficient way of cooking. Induction cooktops can boil water in three minutes, provide extra safety because they contain no open flame or exposed heating element, and are easy to clean.
