The Junior Blue Rocks Club, a program offered by the Class-A minor league baseball team, the Wilmington Blue Rocks, just got much bigger and more exciting! With new opportunities available for the upcoming season, Club President Rocky Bluewinkle says being a member is simply “mooooose-tacular!”

The Blue Rocks invite children ages 12 and under to be a part of something fun and exclusive. For just $20, members of the club receive a free ticket to every Wilmington Blue Rocks Sunday home game, a member’s t-shirt, an exclusive membership card, a monthly newsletter and the opportunity to attend exclusive events. It also gives kids the chance to be part of the Blue Rocks community. The team is an affiliate of the American League champions, the Kansas City Royals.

This season’s events include fireworks on the field on May 24, photos with players in the dugout on June 7, a high-five tunnel with the Blue Rocks on August 23, and an exclusive player autograph session on September 6. Kids also get the opportunity to watch one of the most exciting minor league baseball clubs in the region. These are just a few of many exclusive experiences members can look forward to.

The Kids Club is an excellent opportunity for kids to take on healthy, active lifestyles, express their enthusiasm for baseball and be social, involved members of the community. The club works to build better character and better students, having fun in the process. The Wilmington Blue Rocks offer youth baseball camps and Rocky Bluewinkle appearances for kids. With such “moose-tacular” goals and exclusive events, the club is a small and worthwhile investment for any baseball-loving child.
